Even Udinese won this encounter, I did not saw the best of them. Defense was vulnerable, indicated by how Roma could get several good chances in front of goal. Luckily Roma also did not get their best in term of finishing.
Udinese attack was also monotone, easily readable by the opponent, at least until 80th minutes. Di Natale, who is the central role in Udinese attack, was not in his best form, IMHO, considering the chances he got. But the first goal in 81' is Udinese trademark: quick passing and divine understanding between Pinzi and Di Natale to easily beat offside trap. Di Natale is the deadliest striker when he one-on-one with the keeper, and he proved it again.
After lead the match, the Udinese playing style is work best. Roma who go out for equaliser leave big hole in their defense, and famous Udinese's quick counter attack punished them with second goal which is decide the match.

This Season's Udinese is Defensively Awesome
Already being one of the best defensive record among top European leagues, this season Udinese is all about defending. The departure of Zapata is fully covered by the new boy Danilo. Benatia became more mature and stronger than ever. Domizzi quite consistent at the left despite could not play every game. Ekstrand, Neuton, and Ferronetti is not the best back up, but still strong defenders. Handanovic has grew up to one of the best goalkeeper in Europe, and irreplaceable at the moment.
However, the statistics not always honest. Only conceded 4 in 10 games of Serie A is quite outstanding. It also conceded the very first goal at Friuli after fifth game of Serie A home game. But when you watch the game, the attacking play of Udinese makes its goal quite dangerous. The opponents always got many shots on Udinese goal. Some lucky, defenders' hard work, Handanovic's great saves, and opponent's bad final touch resulted in such great defensive record.
