The Best Team of 2011

Udinese is selected as the best team of 2011 in Oscar del Calcio 2011.
Udinese had outstanding performance in the Serie A at the beginning of 2011, with 10 wins and 3 draws in 13 matches. The most notable was an away win 7-0 at Palermo, while at the same period Udinese also recorded famous wins against Inter at home and Juventus away.

Handanovic also being selected as the best goalkeeper. During 2010-11 season, he saved six penalties which is a tied record. He also went 704 minutes without conceding a single goal between February 5th and March 20th. Until the end of 2011, Udinese also had the best defensive record in Serie A, with only conceded eight goals in 17 matches.

Along with Handanovic, Pablo Armero and Antonio Di Natale is included in the Team of the Year. Armero has incredible speed and good dribbling technique in the left wing, while Di Natale keeps scoring at the front-he is last season top scorer and current top scorer this season.
